The instrument

ETHUSD is the price of one ether, the currency of the Ethereum network, in US dollars. Like bitcoin it trades all the time, weekends included, which is why an ETHUSD analysis can be issued at any hour and its 24-hour horizon runs without pauses. Forex and metals hours are on the market hours page.

How a reading is checked

Every ETHUSD analysis is checked on Binance ETHUSDT and Yahoo ETH-USD hourly bars, two public series separate from the engine’s feed, adjusted by the broker/reference divergence recorded at issue and stated in basis points on the card. If the two series disagree, the outcome stays “to be checked” and is read by hand.

The full method is on the methodology page.

Terms used in the readings

Band · Liquidity pool · Sweep · Displacement · Drift · Shelf · ATR (average true range)

Every Meridian Engine analysis records direction, entry, stop, targets and invalidation before the move; the outcome is checked afterwards on the public price series named on each card, losses included. Waitlist members receive one or two analyses a week by email, free while on the waitlist.
