Liquidity pool: definition
A pool is the level the market tends to visit: in Meridian Engine readings every pool is stated with its price, the timeframe it comes from and its status, intact or already swept.

This page explains a term of the method and how to check it against public data. It does not say what to do in any market.
Definition
A cluster of equal or near-equal highs or lows.
In smart money concepts the idea is that resting orders gather beyond these levels, and that price tends to reach them before it picks a direction.
How a reading uses it
The "Liquidity" part of every analysis says which pools have already been swept and which remain above and below price. An intact pool close to price is a level to watch; a swept pool tells you what the market has already done. On its own it does not point anywhere: it counts together with structure.
Example from the gold reading
On 23 September price had swept the pool of equal lows at 4,291.3 with an excursion of 0.87 times ATR, and made a lower low instead of rejecting the level. At issue, the next pool below price was at 4,273.8, with a cluster of three lows at 4,253.4 on the four-hour chart. Within the next two hours price traded through 4,273.8, and during the morning through 4,253.4 as well (Binance PAXGUSDT and COMEX futures).

How to spot one yourself
Look for two or more highs, or lows, at almost the same price on the same chart. The timeframe matters: a four-hour pool weighs more than an hourly one. In a reading every pool is written down in advance, with its price, so you can check afterwards whether and when price reached it.
