The terms
- Band: The price interval, bounded by two stated levels, in which the reading applies.
- Liquidity pool: A cluster of equal or near-equal highs or lows.
- Sweep: Price trades briefly beyond a cluster of prior highs or lows; what counts is whether it returns.
- Displacement: A structure break made by wide, fast bars relative to ATR.
- Drift: A structure break made by slow, overlapping bars with thin participation.
- Shelf: A horizontal level formed by repeated lows or highs.
Where they are used
Each term appears in the published readings, with an example taken from one of them. How to check a reading is in the guide How to check a market analysis.
The next Meridian Engine readings are published with their conditions written in advance, and the outcome checked afterwards. Joining the waitlist gets you the code for a free first analysis straight away.
