The instrument

XAGUSD is the price of one troy ounce of silver in US dollars. Like gold, it trades from Sunday 22:00 UTC to Friday 22:00 UTC; the hours of each centre and the London–New York overlap are on the market hours page.

How a reading is checked

Every silver analysis is checked on COMEX silver futures (SI=F), a public series separate from the engine’s feed. They quote on their own scale: to compare them with the published levels, add the basis stated on the card of every analysis, measured on the last bar before issue.

The full method is on the methodology page.

Terms used in the readings

Band · Liquidity pool · Sweep · Displacement · Drift · Shelf · ATR (average true range)

Every Meridian Engine analysis records direction, entry, stop, targets and invalidation before the move; the outcome is checked afterwards on the public price series named on each card, losses included. Waitlist members receive one or two analyses a week by email, free while on the waitlist.
